Over the last three decades, teachers at Holland have helped thousands of students make a smooth transition into high school. Holland teachers work hard to provide instruction that prepares students for what they will experience in high school as well as in life.
Holland students who wish to participate in the Target After-School Fine Arts Program should pick up a registration form from Mr. Hannon in room 609. The program is available Monday through Friday from 3:45 until 5:30. Students are taught by professionals in the fields of dance, theatre arts, instrumental music, vocals, and visual arts.
The Holland Middle School Go Center was placed on campus to increase the number of college-ready students from Pleasantville and its surrounding communities by the year 2015. The Go Center is a college awareness hub that leads the way in our efforts to establish a college bound culture.
Who needs reality t.v. when you’ve got a chance to participate in the C-STEM Sea Turtle Challenge? The Holland Robotics team will spend the next few months preparing for the C-STEM Sea Turtle Challenge finale to be held on May 16th at Texas Southern University.
The Physical Education Department is pleased with the students’ commitment to their health. In addition to regular exercise, students participate in seminars that teach them how to maintain great health.
